The Painted Party was started by Artist and Designer, Raegan Rowland. She started her Creative career as an abstract painter but as she entered her late twenties, she found her friends needing wedding graphics and wanted to help out. She started with one wedding crest for a close friend, and the rest is history!

Creating custom crests for wedding clients turned into making designs for koozies, napkins, drink menus, etc. She fell in love with creating a brand for these weddings, and realized these services could be applied to not only weddings, but any event. She wanted to continue making paintings and pursuing her Fine Art career, while helping people with Event Design, and knew she would need to branch off and start her own new Brand.
Thus came, The Painted Party Creative Studio. Eventually, Live Painting services such as ceremony paintings and watercolor guest portraits were added to the list of services. At The Painted Party, we are dedicated to making any party, a night to remember.
Starting Out
In 2022, Raegan got a call from her good friend Courtney who was wondering if Raegan could create a custom wedding crest for her big day. Raegan had never made one of these before but she said yes! Raegan and Courtney worked together to create not only a custom wedding crest featuring Courtney's beloved dog Shep, but a design to be used for koozies and cups as well!

Flash forward to September of 2023, Raegan had her designs featured in over 70 weddings! She started selling her crests on Etsy and they were a huge hit. Through word of mouth and social media, her friends and family started hearing and seeing more of her designs and hired her to do all kinds of design related wedding things, not just crests.
Now, in 2025 The Painted Party is mostly known for our Live Painting Services, specifically watercolor wedding guest portraits. What started as a request from a wedding planner friend led to a LOT of interest from Atlanta-based brides and beyond, and is now our main service.
And it doesn't stop at Weddings...
